I would have submitted this for the third round, but I missed the time gap. It passes the plant challenge, and it's akin to a dryad minion. I excluded some teleport squares from the symmetry on purpose because they could not be used in PvP. You can imagine that they're there, though, but they would normally be useless.

Instead of a cheesy flytrap, it's the carnivorous plant boss from terraria! She's slow, but she can attack up close and from a distance. Beats both challenges. It took a bit of thought to be able to make her into a chess piece, and it felt cliche to make it a 25+ point piece.
