Introduction
I finally found my way to steemit. I look at it as something where I can post longer texts where people actually read and appreciate it. My posts will be political and philosophical even though I don't want to limit it on those topics.
I'm in my later twenties and german (which will be an explanation why there might be some little english "issues"). Also I might write some german texts.
The more important thing is that I identify myself as a libertarian. My profile name is (obviously not my real name but) a version of Ayn Rands charakter "John Galt" of her novel "Atlas Shrugged".
I don't agree with all of Rands statements but calling myself Jones Galt should demonstrate where you at ;)
I planned posts about following topics:
- individual conservativsm - what is it and how is it different to (collective) conservatism
- how to spread libertarian ideas
- islam - it's not the terrorists which frighten me
- parallels in germany: 1930s/2010s
- what is right wing?
- comments on current news

You must be brave blogging about politics, I think there are few areas that are more controversial. But I have no doubt that you´ll find your way here on the platform, mostly because steemit has an extremely open-minded community.
If you wonder why payouts are relatively low currently, there has just been a hard fork including some significant changes on the platform. But no worries, things (rewards) are going to be normal soon.
