Steem price going up

The price of steem is getting some love today.

Take a look at the chart:

Any idea what is causing it?

It's giving back a lot of the up-move right now but it's nice to see it above $1.10.

Any time it's not down under a dollar I am happy.

      Yea that strange part is that it is holding up there. Do people know that it is a pegged asset? What good is a pegged asset if it can't be pegged on the exchanges though?
