Senate passes Infrastructure Bill without Crypto Amendments....
Sounds like the end of the world right? Especially if you've been listening to crypto twitter or any other negative headlines floating around out there...

But, it isn't.
The Bill still has to make its way through the House where there is a lot of support amending the definition of a broker.
Those working hard to amend the bill in the Senate are already contacting the House trying to make sure they do what needs to be done.
If the House fails to make the necessary amendments, then it's time to panic.
That won't happen until mid-September though as they are on recess currently.
The US has God-awful cyber security...institutions and companies are constantly being compromised. Strong cryptography is something the US desperately needs...especially in finance. Crypto offers some of the answers to this...I hope policy makers realize this before killing off an industry that will help with this.
