Three years of expansion followed by one year of bear... can it really be this easy?

If you go back and look at past cycles there is a very clear 4 year pattern...

There is some debate on what exactly goes on during those 4 years but if you zoom out it looks pretty clear what happens...

It looks like we have 3 years of growth followed by 1 year of bear.

These 3 years of growth don't mean straight up, and in if you zoom in, you could make the argument that it's about a year or so of flat in those 3 years...

Which means it would only be 2 years of up.

Either way though, it looks like it's only one year of down before turning into bull market again...

And as of right now, we are now more than a year into this correction...
