China just banned bitcoin and crypto and yet they own roughly $11 billion in bitcoin and are one of the largest known holder of the coin.
Makes you wonder why instead they didn't worth to try and establish bitcoin as the currency of the world and put themselves in a leadership position...
The Chinese Gubment always seems to operate long term strategies that take decades to play out. Perhaps they hoped to take larger positions in other projects as well or accumulate more BTC before they make their next move. These Gubments can't be trusted
