Alt Season...

There is all this talk about alt season, but what it is exactly?

Well basically it is period of time where coins outside of bitcoin tend to massively outperform bitcoin.

Specifically:

Alt Season is a period of time during the longer term bitcoin bull market where people who missed out on the initial bitcoin surge look for profits in other coins. Plus profit takers in bitcoin look to diversify their holdings after already riding the bitcoin wave.

It often starts with large cap alts.

However, the money often trickles down into mid cap alts and even small cap alts.
