Mr. Thivs strikes again at Folsom Lake!
I was looking for some walking trails that would be great Autumn paths but i haven't had any luck finding anything yet. I tried to look online but still no luck. From all the Autumn paths i seen online how could this be so hard to find methinks.
I decided to take a snack break as i have been walking for a long time and i found a nice pick-nick table so i take my seat. I had a few small bags of trail mix with nuts in my pocket and look for a place to put a small bottle of water i had bought from the store at the harbor. I turn my head for one second and i hear something scampering away i look fast and see my bag of nuts where gone! They where just...gone! I had to of stared at the spot for about what seems a 10 second thinking "didn't i put my nuts on the table patting my pockets.
So i get up and look under the table and see a squirrel messing with my nuts under the table and i think its the same squirrel as the other day! That's one brave squirrel i say out loud to my self! In reaction i jump back not wanting to touch it or have it touch me as i know some wild animals can carry diseases. Looks like he got a nut and then ran off from out under the table that damn tree. They are like little assassin thieves stealing all the food in the land i think to my self then i started to laugh out loud saying you win this time Mr. Thivs "affectionately naming the squirrel" well played!
In some ways i think maybe Mr. Thivs had adopted me or perhaps my good luck charm? In any case I'll be sure to bring something special next time. I didn't get to take a picture as it happen so fast but i know this wont be the last time we will met so next time I'll have the camera recording and upload the video!
I guess I'm off to find out what is healthy for Mr. Thivs to snack on.
