Found Inspirations - Thoughts Through The Trees @115

I know a lot of people see a photo and think cool but it's just a photo and don't think it's worth an upvote however not all photos are equal and I spend a lot of time on mine. Post production can take hours but what I do is something of an art style as I add in backgrounds, skies, rocks, trees, oceans, all kinds of objects to create a photo that has never been seen before and will never be seen again because it was created by me.

I go to the lake snap a lot of shots jump over streams fall in and try to not get my camera wet. I climb steep mountain sides and risk getting bit by rattle snakes and who know what else. It's a lot of work and a lot of time, gas and money to do photography and even more for the art style that I use once I get home and sort out all the photos. Some days I don't get many because of one reason or another while other days I get a lot of shots and some don't turn out well, blown out or to dark.

I spend a lot of time learning how to use the tools I have and I still have a lot to learn. It's an art and each artist uses the tools in different ways. I don't always use the same methods but if I can and it does what I want it to do then that's great for me! At the end of the day I love taking photos and working on them, it truly is an art in an art and It takes up a lot of my time.

Just understand that not all people that post photos are stealing them and posting it up on here. They do that with anything they can to steal from steemains and it bothers all of us who put in real time and effort into the projects they do on steemit. Steemit has started me down this road and with out it I wouldn't of known photography art in this way. I have a lot of respect for all the people who come on here day after day doing what they love and making money at it.

I like to show the end product (just one photo) because that's the point isn't it? I want to show the done work and all the time and effort I put into looking nice. I notice some people think you should show more then one as if I just took a photo and randomly posted it like a selfy. Some people can post selfies all day long with out a thought! I have seen them in the wild but that's not what I do. So when I post something I put thought into it and time in post edit and then I may do some photo art changing out the background or something. That takes skills, time and my full attention. Just wanted to say something because I don't think everyone understands how much work goes into this kind of photo. Thank you for listening to me rant on.

You can see the land in the background has a blue tint to it, it doesn't fix well and I want it to be green. I also used a light blue tint in the sky layer from the land mass to the sky using the blend tool with 20% to transparency.

I used the free select tool to mark off the area I wanted to work on. I used hue -saturation to change the color to a shade of green that best match the trees. Sometimes details take hours if not days to make it look all blended in well. So learning better ways to work on your projects helps out so much.
