Found Inspirations - Sunset By The Lake #277

in #photography8 years ago

Here I am sitting back against the tree watching the sunset over the mountain range. You know whats best about doing this every once and awhile is what you would call grounding, I'm not just talking about taking your shoes and socks off and letting them touch the earth but also let your mind get away from the tech and just look around you, the world that you're in.

So I take off my shoes and socks let them dig into the earth while my toes play around the dirt and grass I jut let me mind wonder off to think about things, anything that isn't tech related. It's strange to have to say this but humans where not born with tech so we have to adapt but when we spend all our time day to night doing nothing but use our cell, laptop, computer system, game consoles, for work and home our minds never get a chance to think like how we used to before everything was tech.

If you're looking at this photo and think wow that would be nice to be at right now then chances are you haven't been out much and need a vacation from all the tech! Take a day get out and do something nature related, It could be something as simple as a walk in a park or a drive out in the country, whatever it is make time to ground your self.

I agree with you @jonbit. We all need some break from noisy world and spend some time with nature. Let our eyes enjoy landscapes and sky, smell wildflowers hear sound of river or ocean.

Yep @artmom it's something we all get to busy to think about until we retire and then the journey begins on learning who we really are.

beautifully captured ! Agree on that we should take a day out and connect with nature ..

Thank you @devrajsinghrawat I feel it's as important as breathing air.

What you just wrote down, is a fact. People forget about their surroundings and nature because of all the gadgets. It's funny when I meet people who are surprised as they see me taking a walk without a phone...btw, this is really nice photo

I did that for a long time but when we get home we have TVs to appliances that use tech so it's very hard to not be around it even when we are sleeping. I also think that tech changes our sleeping not just because the lights on one somewhere but the things we don't see like sound, WiFi, Bluetooth down to the electromagnetic forces. We can't get a real good nights sleep we end up cranky and in bad moods that in the long run effects our over all health.

Oh and thanks I took and made that photo :)

Try to put your PC and modem out of electricity through the night. Al least, if you don't let computer to download something through the night or check the system (anti-virus and such...). I do that every night. For many years now. It's very....relaxing. Believe me.

I turn off the computer while sleeping and TV light shows while it's off so I have to cover that as it bothers me while I'm trying to sleep. Even the smoke alarm has a red flashing light every 10 mins or so and has woke me up a few times. You would be surprised on how much that interrupts not just your sleeping but your train of thought while you're awake.

That's what I'm saying. Don't just turn off, but pull the cable for electricity out through the night. That does not do any damage to any gadget. You can have alarm set on phone - It does not flash if you totally turn off internet, data connectivity and wifi.

Good advice, maybe use something like a power strip to shut it all down at once!
