The clouds make it really dark, it's like this a lot on the coast unless you go to southern California it rains less and is hotter. Even though the air has a little chill in it, its not really cold. You could get away with a long sleeve shirt maybe a wind breaker.
Summers are a lot warmer even at night you could be in shorts and a T-shirt on the beach kicking back next to a fire pit or camp fire. Some places allow fire pits and have rings for them. If you been to Santa Cruz you know what I'm talking about. This was taking by Bodega Bay it's a must see if you never been.
I have never been there looking his place nice and interesting
