Bay Life Exploring - Bodega Bay #282

One of life's fine moments just kicking back take shots of the bay watching the ducks go by while the birds play. If you been around the bay a lot then you know fish will jump up out of the water from time to time while other times they do it a lot. Most the time it's a good sign something is trying to eat them and they are trying to not be a snack and that means a much bigger fish. So I get my fishing pole drop it in the area I last seen the fish jumping around at and let the big fish try and eat my bate!

It's not about catching the fish, it's about the act of fishing as it gives a sense of peace just relaxing while having a singular focus that you can relax on until that moment you get a pull on that line. A lot of people catch and release after taking a few shots of the selfie fish pose to brag to your buddies about later on. Fishing on the bay isn't the same as fishing out in the ocean unless you're doing it from the beach just walking into the water cast your line and walk back on the beach again. Doing it that way is a great rotation the other would be off the pier but you have to make sure you get a good spot away from other people because you don't want to tangle lines.
