  A star observer looks at the constellation of the Great Bear perfectly aligned with the window of the entrance to a large cave of glaciers in Engadin, Switzerland. This is a panorama of two pictures, and each is a stack of two other images: one for the stars and another for the foreground, but without the composition or the mixture of time.  

  

Super Moon

  In this image we contemplate a magnificent view of the superluna illuminating the night sky, behind the Marmarole mountain, in the heart of the mountain range of the Dolomites in Italy. On the night of November 14, 2016, the moon was in perigee at 356,511 km from the center of the Earth, the closest distance since 1948; will not be so close until 2034. That night, the moon was 30% brighter and 14% larger than on other full moon nights.
