Vancouver's Deep Cove - SteemitPhotoChallenge Entry
This is an HDR image that I created from 3 separate exposures, combined with the application Photomatix, then dodged and burned in Adobe Photoshop. I took the shots with my Canon 5D Mark II and 24-105mm L IS lens.
The location is in Deep Cove, in North Vancouver, which is one of my favorite places to relax in all of Canada. If you're ever in Vancouver, be sure to set a couple hours aside to visit Deep Cove.
i like that is not to much HDR-y. was it to bright so you had to stitch exposures?
The sun was poking out between some clouds which made for harsh light/shadows. The high dynamic range brings details to the lights and the darks. The odd thing about 'The HDR Look' most people refer to is careless over-processed images.
