God provides today what we need TODAY!
This text is only a part of the Lord's Prayer, it reminds us of what is essential: it is the trust in God as our sustainer who supplies all daily needs, it is not only about physical food, it is also about spiritual and emotional sustenance, absolutely everything we need to live.
Sometimes we worry too much about what may happen in the future, and we want to have everything under control. But the Lord Jesus Christ teaches us to ask for what we need today, this means that he urges us to live the present confident that God will provide everything in due time.
Imagine if God gave us everything at once, he does not do it like that, each day brings its own concern and each day God also supplies what we need, in this way we learn to depend on him, valuing everything we have and not worrying about what is to come. Whether it is business or finance, everything that is involved in our daily life is a challenge, can we say that we are really confident that God will supply everything we need, even what has not arrived? Remember that God gives us what we need today and we should not despair about tomorrow because tomorrow He will again give us the provision we need.
