The Leadership Principles of Jesus

Much have been said and written about leadership and its principles. Yet, we are still not learning. We might have read a lot about good teaching but let me ask you this; Can you still remember a thing? In the book of Romans, Paul says we must renew our minds on a daily basis. Let us live the teachings that we have learned.

Here are Some Leadership Principles of Jesus:

Start early in the morning with a prayer.

Prayer is a lot like eating. If we rarely eat, we become physically weak. In the same manner, if we rarely pray our spiritual life may become passive. Early morning prayer is important to fuel our day with God's blessings and protection. To pray is to trust that God will do great things today.

Have firm faith in God.

In Mark 11:24 the Bible says; Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. What a great faith is demonstrated by this verse.

Live the life you are teaching

Practice what you preach explains this well. Walk your talk others may say. How can you be a good leader if what you do is different from what you are saying? Let us be a good example for others to follow. That's what a good leader is. Don't just tell the group to do this or do that. Instead, model yourself for them to follow.

Great leaders call for great commitments

Behind every successful work is a good leader, one who motivates and constantly pushes the team forward. He understands that being a leader is not a position but rather a function. There may be times when your commitment is tested. Don't give up. A good leader is committed to finish what he has started.
