WHAT COULD BE THE REAL REASON OF WHICH AIR CLINIC STANDS FOR?
Few days back, I decided to daily reviewing and sharing my views about the AIR CLINIC health service project. Each option in the website and the app has been further examined and tested. This pushed me into a search of their history in order to discover the reason they chose AIR-CLINIC being decentralized and not a normal centralized system.
However, as I was reading their white paper, I discover that the founders had the zeal for change. Not a short term change but a long term change of the overall health care system. Two Years back; I had an opportunity to do my internship in a public hospital. I wouldn’t like to explain all the good or bad I saw but the crucial point was always in regards to patient’s files storage and system safety. As a Data entrant, I encountered issues related to patient’s details and previous medical prescription.
Moreover, only the people in the system knew the problem but no one would care or express about it. This made me realize that ended there could be a deep change of the health sector system, especially in regards to patient’s data and medical record keeping. AIR-CLINIC is a new version of knowledge and technological progress expressed by its founders @nairadaddy, @ejemai and many others. These people thought of a way they could save the humanity and improve the medical system.

Apparently, no sick people doubts the doctor’s ability to cure him/her but the after treatment effect matters most. Being part of a medical circle made me realize that some doctors only decide to treat patients to just fulfill their responsibility or please the patient but do not provide long term wellbeing of the patient. In other words, they are faced with barriers of prompt consultation and insufficient use of technology to refer the patient to the best center or doctor.
On patient’s side, the majority are blank of the health sector functionality. Actually, when I first told a friend about it, he suddenly replied ‘’ Do I look unhealthy or need medical services?’’ This is where the problem lies. At a time a person is healthy, he/she cares less of acquiring more healthy precautionary knowledge as learning and using the ‘’AIR-CLINIC APP’’ but the problem comes when he/she is seek and can not do much. Would you still say that he/she will learn? Absolutely no, just because he/she has no strength to learn something new.
Advocating for a better health system is great and this should be promoted. Imagine living in Uganda with 35 million people but just less than 10 hospitals providing better services. Some health care still exist but poor enough to cure five percent of the population. Hospitals are overpopulated and few doctors are ready to serve.
AIR-CLINIC is not just an app that was made but a life saving tool. If people can perish for their ignorance, let it not be directed to health related ignorance. Furthermore, journals, research publications and articles are published everyday for the public but also the community is rewarded for their value added support to the platform. Isn’t it looking wonderful? I think so if we all take part of its revolutionary idea.
Human beings have always been subject to health challenges and do suffer more. The increased rate of cancer is uncontrollable, AIDS is no more an issue to discuss, what about simple diseases as malaria, flu, colds and many more? All the sicknesses cited above are dangerous and deserve to be considered. Some are simply treated with an acquisition of knowledge or a simple chat with an online Doctor. This is only done with AIR-CLINIC, the decentralized health care platform which is built on the steem blockchain.
