Unexpected Sunset - Golden Hour Photography Contest

How was the sunset unexpected?
Well, it was unexpected because I didn't have any plan that day when I arrived in Panglao Island. Once I arrived on the island, I was suppose to plan things out for the next day. Being the spontaneous person that I am, I decided that I should go out for a sunset. I had to pay 800 pesos (18 USD) for a private boat to go to Virgin Island. It was my first time travelling alone too so I had to pay every penny. The weather wasn't good at all when we went out to the island. I said to myself, so much for the 800 pesos. But when the sun started to set, the color on the sky was so amazing that I had to take it in and just stare at it for a few minutes.

When we had to go back to the main island (Panglao Island), it was already dark. It was low tide so our boat got stuck on the seaweeds so my guide had to push out boat through the seaweeds. I thought to myself, "What have I put myself into?" Instead of a 20 minutes ride back, it took 1 hour.

Everything turned out to be fine and I was able to continue my tour around Bohol.
