I spent a lot of time on another side of the World
Dreaming of the warmth that my homeland offers
I stopped to wander from flower to flower
All that love required, Sophia had it

In the warmth of the room embraced by the imagination
We sailed through with moonshine filled Adriatic sea
Deep inside our souls, we feel the tranquility
The shining of my country from the poster on the wall

She taught me day and night
With a quiet patience of women in love
I'm now back to our hometown in my circle of friends
But my Sophia is not here, gone is my gentle teacher
