Facebook VS Steemit 6 month trend - Steemit is gaining ground!

I was very interested and decided to do some more research. Specifically I wanted to see how the trends looked between steemit and facebook.
facebook is astronomically larger than steemit.
Facebook September traffic 753,912,501
Facebook Today traffic 684,301,892
Net Loss 69,610,609
Percent of Gain: -9.23%
Steemit September traffic 217,065
Steemit Today traffic 907,577
Net Gain 690,512
Percent of Gain: 318.11%
This could be considered a story of David Vs Goliath, with David on the upswing and Goliath loosing favor. However facebooks loss of traffic is still over 70 times all of steemits traffic. At least the trends are going in the right direction :/
I'm here as part of this very dynamic. My FB feed is getting worse and worse. Just repeats of the same posts I didn't bother to like the first time I saw them, so definitely don't want to keep seeing.
I just joined Steemit yesterday and posted for the first time today. I look forward to shifting more of my time to here and away from FB. My family connection will probably stay on FB, but my content is moving to Steemit.
