Steemchurch:UNFAIR WORLD

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 5: 10)

My teenage niece watched something on TV and came complaining, why the world is so unfair, for the good people, those doing and living right get punished and persecuted while the wicked and bad people go unpunished! I nodded in agreement and said in my head, "Welcome to life in this world!"
Frankly speaking, this is a serious matter, and even children could see it and understand that the world is unjust, not fair.
But while we can complain and protest it, I want to draw our attention to some issues scripture reveals.
Firstly, the Lord knows that the world with its people are filled with all unrighteousness and evil, and is going to get worse and worse because the world had an evil god.
Secondly, the world with its unrighteous people seek to pervert and suppress the truth and righteousness of God with deceit, falsehood, violence and persecution.
Thirdly, the Lord knew that those who have been redeemed to live for righteousness and therefore hunger for it and strive to live righteous lives for God as Christ's people in this world will suffer great persecution. For their righteousness draws a line of contrast between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness, between those in the light and filled with the Spirit of God and those in the darkness of Satan and being used by demon spirits.
The good news is that what we see as injustice and unfairness are all blessings in disguise. Because the Lord will bring about justice, righteousness and fairness one day.

Apostle Paul exhorts us that "it's righteous with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble and persecute us for righteousness sake (2 Thess 1: 6). So there will be a paying time. For there is an appointment for every soul ever born to this world that no one will miss it. An Appointment with death and an appointment with God's judgment and justice (Heb 9: 27, Acts 17: 31, Rom 2: 3 -11).
So Paul admonitions all those who love and live for righteousness to be patient in faith, as they endure persecutions of the unrighteous people and unfair world, for that is a sure sign of the coming righteous judgment of God (2 Thess 1: 4 -5)
My encouragement to you dear righteous one, is that continue to pursue righteousness and live for it despite the persecution of the enemies of God, for it's a sign that you are blessed of God and you are in the kingdom, for the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Rom 14: 17)
So as you go through the day and live life, see persecution, injustice and unfairness as God's blessings upon your life in disguise. And in the due season they will manifest in glory.
May you not fear their persecution and troubles because you carry the righteousness of Christ. I pray that may your righteousness arrest their unrighteousness and quench and paralyse their power to cause evil your life in Jesus name. Amen
Shalom, life and grace to you
