The sins of some people are open and evident, going before them into judgment but the sins of other people follow after them later on. Likewise the good works of some people are also clearly evident and open and those that are otherwise cannot be hidden (1 Timothy 5: 24 - 25)

The British icon, legend and superman, when it comes to writing and the use of words, William Shakespeare, once said, "The Evil that men do lives after them, but the good they do are in tarred in their bones". That is apt description of life on earth. That the evil people do chase after them, but the good they do, no one remembers them, including the people they did the good to, so they die and the good is buried with them.
But we thank God, the Bible as God's word does not say that. Actually, the Bible is honest to point us to the truth and the fact that everyone will be paid for the good or for the evil that he or she has done. So there will be payment time, and no one will escape that or exempt from it. Your evil works and your good works will chase after you. There would be consequences for our actions, deeds and works. God, the Righteous Judge will expose every thought, motive and interest behind our good and evil works and pay us accordingly. God's word to Jeremiah for Israel was, "I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, even to give to every man according to his ways, according to the fruits of his doings (Jer 17: 10).

And Apostle Paul warns Timothy his son, the pastor at Ephesus, that some people their sins are so glaring and so evil that it calls for immediate judgment by God, while others, theirs just follow them gradually until their cup is full and their judgment and destruction come. Likewise the good works and deeds we do. Some are clearly open and evident, and their reward are immediate. But other good are so hidden and behind closed doors, but even those ones would not go unnoticed and unrewarded.
I am here to encourage you to stop that evil, because you will be found out, for God, not man, will render judgment and payment one day. But for the good? Scripture says we "should not be weary in doing it, for we will be rewarded in due time".

So as you go through the day and live life, remember it's no man you are fighting or hurting or doing that evil against but the Most High God, and the same goes for the good you do. Don't let evil chase after you, but good only.
May the Lord be quick in judging all our evil works and good deeds, and may He cause us to understand that He is the Judge and not man in Jesus name. Amen

PRAYER OF FAITH

We thank you Father for your word. Sometimes your word is harsh and we don't like it, but it's your word and the truth. As we receive this word, I know it comes as a warning to us and also encouragement to know that we can't continue to oppress people, destroy your purposes and trample with our feet people with our evil doings. Therefore help us Lord to repent, knowing that you are a God of Justice and Righteousness. Fill us with your fear Lord and grace to accept our wrong doings and repent in Jesus name. Amen

May I Lord turn away from my evil works in Jesus name. Amen
