Food Review : Honey Bear Bakery
Rise and Shine! 🌞 Good Morning my fellow Steemians. As always, I'm not forgetting to greet you. I just want to share our experience yesterday as we went to the mall to buy a pair of sandals for Justin. As we arrived at the parking lot, the kids complain about the long drive and the heavy traffic. Jeremy being impatient and Justin murmuring with baby talks. So, we head first to the food stalls to buy some refreshments. We passed by a certain bakery that caught Jeremy's attention. Amazed by the designs of the cake and pastries, Jeremy went inside the store to took a closer look. He is staring at this adorable figure..
The name of the store is Honey Bear Bakery located at Lower Ground Floor of Robinsons Metro East near the Supermarket. We entered the store and checked their pastries. The storekeeper courteously greeted us and talked to my wife. She disclosed to us a certain information about their store that if we visit their social media page, hit like and follow, they will be giving away samples of their cookies. So my wife followed the instructions and received 2 servings of butter cookies.
Jeremy ordered for the Chicken Mango Cake. It was too attractive to be eaten. The outer yellow icing was produced using food color combined with mango scent and mango extract to produce a mango-like flavor. Its eyes and comb were made out of gum paste. And the spoon they gave us, a plastic toy of shovel. Look at how cute it is...
You can see on Jeremy's face that he is delighted by the sweetness of the cake. The inner part of it is a sponge cake with tidbits of the mango fruit. A light mango syrup enhanced the flavor of the sponge cake. It may look small in size but will make you full once you finished one serving of it.
While Jeremy is eating, I took the chance of inspecting some of their concept-decorated pastries. Admiring the cleverness of their design, I took some photos of what I noticed best.
They also sell breads, buns, rolls and twists. I love to taste them all, but I'm not that hungry though. Just reading their description gives me a hint of their deliciousness. For real.
If you happen to pass by Robinsons Metro East, make sure to visit Honey Bear Bakery. Giving sample cookies is generous enough for us. But combining artisan skills with appealing lovely designs made this bakery a head-turner for passersby. Until next article. Tik-ti-la-ok! Uh-oh! The rooster got angry because we ate the chicken mango cake. Next stop, to the chicken inasal restaurant. Ha ha ha! 🐓🐔🐣

weLL, they say that femaLe chromosomes are more domintant than maLe's. but then, i stiLL beLieve that my younger son, Justin Looks exactLy Like me when i was a toddLer. and Jeremy resembLes more of my wife's physicaL attributes. 😊
