5 Different Cakes for 5 Days

Whew! What a busy week! We accepted the orders from our dear customers. Our business of personalized theme cakes is really booming. Up until now, there are still pending orders that we need to make. Thank GOD for the continuous blessings we are receiving. So, what I will be featuring now are the orders that we made. Have a glimpse of what made us busy. Friday

The Good Friday. Still working on a holiday, huh?! It was Friday of the Holy Week and we need to finish a bike-themed cake. It was intended for the birthday celebration of Shean, @mariejoyacajes' son. She wanted to surprise her son with a brand new bicycle (but SBD current rate is fluctuating) so she placed an order for a cake with bicycle design and gear decors instead. She also insisted if she can capture or document how we make the cake. My wife is a bit shy to refuse, so we allowed her. Mariejoy also helped us in decorating the cake using fondant and gum paste. Now, she experienced how difficult it was for our labor. And also time-consuming, for we did it almost 5hours. But patience is a virtue, and the long wait will be paid with great rewards. She sent us a photo of them eating the cake. The smiles seen on the faces of her children and nephews were totally priceless. Saturday

A minion girl for a minion-like girl celebrant. Our client asked if we could make a birthday cake for their theme Despicable Me. Of course we can! Countless times did we cover this particular theme. Our rendition of minion-in-a-jumpsuit cake became popular and gained us more inquiries and more customers. But this time, they wanted it for a girl. To simply put it, we placed a ribbon diagonally positioned on its head. Ta~dah! Our girl version of the minions.

Sunday

Sunday is intended for family day. But our family bond encircled in making cakes again for our clients. It is a new, unique creation this time. Our frozen-themed cake. My wife had a hard time thinking on how to decorate it. While scratching her head, she accidentally bruised her scalp and dandruff fell off. That coincides with her as a snowflake. Hahaha! (I made up that one, though) 😁 So the planning and preparation were made. A gigantic castle standing at the top of the cake. Wonderful! 🎵 "Let it go! Let it go! Can't hold it back anymore." 🎶

A 2-tier cake in color pink with purple blend of the snowflake design. That suits fine for Elsa.

Monday

To infinity and beyond!
Our former neighbor requested a toy story inspired cake for his son's birthday. And also a tower of cupcakes to fit in. My wife bought a cupcake stand to fulfill their requests. And with Buzz Lightyear and Woody at the top of the cake, it will surely complement the theme.

Buzz Lightyear's sky background and Woody's western heritage, when mixed together forms a 2-tier cake. Great teamwork, guys! You two look awesome during the party. Kids surely love to see the tandem you brought. The birthday celebrant will be your new owner for the meantime.

Tuesday

@cariton0's daughter, Jaden Krish is now 5yrs old. They ordered a Peppa Pig cake with Kitkat chocolate overload to surprise her. We have known Jaden as a lover of Peppa Pig merchandise. Every Peppa Pig toy or design, you name it, Jaden have it. To excite her more, we filled her Peppa Pig cake with her favorite chocolates.

You can see the family of Peppa bathing in mud. The grassy terrain with the rainbow behind the family was the design desired by the client. Hershey's cookies and cream completes the sweetness of the cake. A ribbon is tightly wrapping the chocolate coated wafers, so as not to let them loose. And generously, my wife spared them pink candles that emits flame brightly when lit.

And that's the way the business grows. Promoting our creations and meeting the clients expectations blessed us with more and more customers. Every client we had were fully satisfied. The feedback from our customers inspired us to continue our work, as the photos they sent us featured happy moments of them sharing food.
