Giving Free Bitcoin to Friends
For the last few years, I have been doing research into how Bitcoin works. I didn't completely understand it in the beginning, like most people. It took a bunch of reading, Youtube videos, and practicing using Bitcoin to get a grasp of how cool it actually is. I've been trying to explain to my friends that I believe Bitcoin and the blockchain could be the future. Either way, It has to be a better investment than holding dollars in a United States bank. My friends don't completely understand that the economy is going to collapse soon and dollars will be worthless. Over the last year, I've watched my Bitcoin quadruple in value. I tried helping people out and telling them that it's a good investment they didn't want to listen. Now that it blew up, they still don't want to listen, they think it's too late.
Whatever it takes
Instead of trying to explain the benefits and why I think it's a good idea, I started just creating them Coinbase accounts. I spent an hour, created a few accounts, and sent $5 worth of Bitcoin to each. I sent each of my friends their credentials. My hope is that they find an interest in it, now that they have their feet in. The $5 already was worth a few cents more. People are intimidated to learn anything knew or spend time trying to do something. My friends have no idea how Bitcoin works or even how to buy a Bitcoin. I'm telling them about it, but they don't care enough to go out and read a little bit about it. Why not help people and get them going? One of my friends was thanking me for doing that and is excited to learn. Another friend said he was meaning to ask me about Bitcoin.
Teach
Just going the extra step I was able to grab the attention of my friends without boring them. Once they heard I sent them free money, they're happy. There were a few reasons I did this besides just getting them started. Whenever I see them, Bitcoin keeps going up in value and I want to talk about it. They don't own Bitcoin and they don't care. If I can get them to start using it, then it will eventually something we can speak about on an intellectual level. Now that I signed up my friend for Bitcoin, he wants to buy some Ark coin. Someone he met randomly was explaining to him that Ark is the future. After he told me this, I decided to pick some up for 25 cents a coin.
Dollar Collapse
Since I believe the United States dollar has no other option to collapse and I think cryptocurrencies and commodities are where you want to place your bets. Do whatever you can to get out of the dollar and into something that will maintain value. If you understand Bitcoin and have some to spare, get your friends involved too. The debt bubble is going to burst and is closing in on 20 trillion dollars. Let's be prepared together.
