Won't You Come In?
With wildflowers
Bloom within
Won't you come in
And stay with me?
Sea-breaker clouds
Surf the sky
While the wind flows
Down the street
In a litany
Of rustling leaves
Inhale
The incense
Of the sea
Won’t you come in
And stay with me?
I’m a mirror
Of everything I see
A pane
Of ice
Held up
For you to see
All the beauty
I’ve stored up
In me
Won’t you come in
And see?
@johnjgeddes. A new success. My verses in this poem are " I´m a mirror/ of everything I see" The poet is an special mirror to catch the reality of himself and his world, in a special way. Congrats.
And have a very happy day inspired by the Christmas espirit.
As Shakespeare says, we are to hold up a mirror to Nature...Thank you, @mllg, and I pray you also have a very joyful and peaceful day
