Some insects around the house

When we look at the environment around the house, we will find various kinds of living things there. There are many types of plants and many types of animals. One type of animal is an insect, which is also called Insecta, which comes from the Latin insectum, which means cut into pieces. Insect species can be found in almost any environment, but only a small number live in the oceans. Insect animals are segmented animals with a very high degree of adaptation so that they can survive in an uncomfortable environment. In terms of size, insects have a relatively small size. Insect animals have a circulatory structure with an open circulatory system and insects reproduce by laying eggs or termed ovipar.

Insects are able to reproduce quickly and one reason is that insects have a high reproductive capacity. Insects are capable of reproducing in very large numbers, and in some species they can even produce several generations in one year, thus accelerating reproduction. In addition, certain types of insects have the ability to fly so that by a flying can avoid many attacking predators, can find food elsewhere, and find mating partners, also by flying, insects can spread to new habitats faster, compared to animals that move by walking on earth

There is also a unique ability of insects, namely the ability of metamorphosis, which is the process of changing the shape of an egg to an adult form that is ready to reproduce. In this change of stage, the body shape is often very dramatic and looks painful. Suppose there is a skin molting process which is commonly called the lunging process. There are two metamorphosis processes in insects, namely complete metamorphosis and incomplete metamorphosis, simply if metamorphosis is complete there is a cocoon formation stage, whereas in imperfect metamorphosis there is no cocoon formation stage, which is usually with this metamorphosis process, the shape of the insect will change.
