Human level in responding to information

It is undeniable that we now live in an age where information can be obtained every day from various sources. Information comes to us in various types so that if we cannot select it will be mixed between valid information and invalid information. News or information sometimes does not include sources so that readers of the information will find it difficult to trace the validity of a story. As information producers, we should include clear sources so that the recipients of the information will easily cross-check the information they get.

From some of the information I got, there are four levels for a person when they receive information. The first level is when someone finds out the information they get with a weak assumption about the validity of the information obtained. When someone is in this condition, the recipient of this information cannot be sure about the information they get. So the recipient of the information only suspects the information that has reached him.

A person's second level when receiving information is under the same presumptive conditions between the two conditions. So the person is half guessing receiving the information and half guessing rejecting the information obtained. In this condition, the recipient of the information is still at the level of suspicion, regarding the information he gets.

Furthermore, at the third level, the recipient of the information has a strong suspicion about the information they get. In this position, the recipient of the information tends to believe the information they get, even though there has not been any convincing evidence of the truth of the information.

The fourth level in receiving information is when someone confirms the information they get, in this position the recipient of the information will be divided into three levels again. Level one in this position is when someone confirms information based on the knowledge that someone has. The next level in level four is when a person confirms the information he gets based on his own vision, so he sees the truth of the information he gets even though he hasn't experienced it himself. The last level in level four is where a person believes the truth of the information he has obtained based on his own experiences, so in this position, he is confirming the information he has received because he has experienced the truth of the information.

Those are some levels of a person's condition when they get information. We must be wise when receiving information so that we are not affected by invalid information.
