So which turtle was I looking at as having a difference?
Number 2, the Alligator Snapping Turtle.
I I know there may be a few differences. However the main difference that I was looking at, is the fact that this turtle, like a few others cannot retract into its shell. This is probably part of the reason he has evolved the way he has.(With his aggressive bite and strong defenses!)
I guess I always assumed that every turtle could go into its shell. However, when I stumbled across the fact that not all turtles can, I found it pretty neat. And so I decided to share it with you in the form of a contest.
