My daughter Ivy absolutely loves visiting the local wildlife sanctuary where she can see a lot of different creatures, and even hand feed some. Pretty special for a 2 year old.
At the same time, she's pretty happy with any park that has swings or a slide.
As a family we also like to take her to visit family members, especial great grandparents and grandparents as they won't be around forever so it's important to forge those bonds and memories while we can. There's also something pretty satisfying about sitting back amd watching the delight on faces at both end of the age spectrum during these interactions.

That is truly one of the best pictures that I have seen in a long time. Two things that I love in this world, kids and old people. And anytime that you put the two of them together, it is always such a beautiful thing. The elderly people always love the children and the kids always have so much fun with the grandparents. Thank you for everything that you do and for being Who You Are. I really do appreciate all the support you have offered. You truly are a wonderful friend. And thank you so much for sharing that picture, it really is lovely.
Wildlife sanctuary is what we don't have here. We have to travel by plane or boat to get to one.
Time with family is the best thing. Spend as much time as possible with them. That's a sweet photo you got there.

Thankyou both. My Grandmother is in her 90s and absolutely adores her Great Grandchildren (my cousin has a little boy slightly older than Ivy).

usually my family does to have fun is to take a picnic on the beach, waterfalls even small river.. before going usually we cook some foods to take there .. sometimes when we are swimming, we stop for a moment to eat something and after it goes to swim again ... it is very fun and we also really enjoy the natural scenery around.
Yes! Your entry is accepted friend. That is what we did this last weekend. Nature is so wonderful to be around. I wish I could just live in the wild.☺

Lots of good suggestions already. How about playing some sports or possibly learning a new one. Kick around a soccer ball. Play some badminton ect.
Ohh, great idea! Evans always wanting to learn a new game to play. I had never thought about Badminton. I think that's a really great one and I know they offer it at our Sports Center in town. Going to have to give that one a try! Thank you so much for stopping by and giving us that idea.
Badminton, yes! So much fun! And that reminded me of making hand-churned ice cream. Good memories - as kids we all wanted a turn and looking back it taught us patience and enjoying the reward of hard work! This time of year it would be fresh strawberry ice cream.
Mmmmmmmm. Homemade strawberry ice cream! We're going to have to put that one on the list. We have an ice cream maker that we love to use. Just haven't done it since winter.

Your Welcome. Its a fun game to play and you can pick up the full set for cheap at Walmart or ebay. If I remember right, Ionly paid around $20 for my net and 4 rackets. The rackets were surprisingly well built for being so cheap.

@suitcasemama and I's absolute favorite thing to do is take a nice long roadtrip and go camping. She didn't do much of this growing up, but as a former tour guide, I took her out once in the American Southwest and she was hooked.
Short trips are fine, but getting unplugged and on the road does wonders for the mind, spirit, and body. We just returned from our first long road trip with our toddler and survived! Haha! We went to Western Australia, check out my wife's trip report for inspiration :)

I'm going to try to use everyone's suggestions. I have a lot of time to fill. And yes, I'm going to try to do a post about them all . Today was hard for him. He received his first phone call from her. And instead of her being strong for him...she cried the whole time she was on the phone, which only made him feel worse. The last hour and a half has been nothing but tears and I miss my mommy. It's going to be a tough time for him. But there are lots of lessons to be learned and at least she's still alive.
My family usually gather to watch a movie programme on every sunday night and special food is usually prepared that day.
It is always fun and I wish it usually happens everyday.

The last time we all together. We went outing together, to the cinema where we saw a funny movie..we went to amusement park for the kids but it was fun for the adult too because we karaoke, you should see my grandmother singing and dance....then we left there to a shoprite, we ate and did some shopping..... It was epic...I still remember like yestaday.

my family is a foodie family. We love to eat... some people eat to live, but we live to eat.
We also enjoy food. We normally like to do BBQs. But I think we're going to do a picnic in the near future, maybe on Father's Day.
