If you could have a pet, what would it be?

Introduction

A warm greetings to my fellow steemians, I'm john from Nigeria how are you all doing today it my pleasure having you guys in this contest :"If you could have a pet, what would it be? " from #boylikegirl-club, I decided to take part in this amazing contest to bring out the best in me.

I have observed that most people have different choice when it comes to selection between a group of different things as the case may be, so this contest bring to us choice on if we could have a pet, what would it be ?

If am to choose any pets I will definitely choose dog at first before considering any other, I love dog so much because of his loyalty and friendliness to the owner and people around him despite the fact that people thinks it is dangerous or harmful to keep dog as a pet but I prefer it like that, what people fails to understand is that dog doesn't harm any body for no reason is either you are looking for his trouble or you are trespassing, the reason I will choose dog will be discussed in the story below

Since I was born I have not owned a pet of my own but stranger and passer by will think I do because of the closeness I have for pets,I loves playing and walking around with other people's own especially our neighbours dog which the love and closeness that exists between I and the dog is extraordinary, that even our neighbour became jealous and angry because of the new behavior of the dog sometimes o the dog doesn't pays him attention when he is with me, sometimes I will be the one to chase the dog so that he will answer the call of our neighbour which is the owner, the reason behind this new behavior of the dog is because of the way I play and walk around with the dog and I usually gather bones for him and a times gives him the leftover we have at home, to be honest I love this dog so much that if there is a way to convert the ownership of the dog to mine I would have done it because of the company and the love I gets from the dog, for this reason I prefer dog as a pet more than any other animals, though the reason why i haven't gotten any was that my parents is not a fan to pets what am trying to say is that they don't like pets mostly dogs which I love so much I decided to drew back because I can't go against their will, I will only gets mine when am independent.
