Love not the world!

Those who are believers in Messiah Y'shua (Immanuel) as YHVH Elohim coming down in the flesh to redeem us, how should our lives look? Shouldn't we be bearing fruits worthy of repentance?

Matthew 3:1-9
And in those days Yohanan the immerser came proclaiming in the wilderness of Yehudah, and saying, Repent, for the reign of the heavens has come near! For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Yeshayahu, saying, "A voice of one crying in the wilderness, 'Prepare the way of YHVH, make His paths straight. ' "
And Yohanan had a garment of camel's hair, and a leather girdle around his waist. And his food was locusts and wild honey. Then Yerushalayim, and all Yehudah, and all the country around the Yarden went out to him, and they were immersed by him in the Yarden, confessing their sins. And seeing many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his immersion, he said to them, "Brood of adders! Who has warned you to flee from the coming wrath? " Bear therefore, fruits worthy of repentance, and do not think to say to yourselves, We have Abraham as father. For I say to you that Elohim is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.

Everyday of our lives should bring purging, repentance, humility, loving and serving Abba YHVH and others in Spirit and Truth. Each day is a gift from Abba YHVH may we use it wisely and be about His matters! Put away the flesh and it's desires, so the Holy Spirit may manifest more each day, bringing forth the Glory of YHVH for all the world to see. We are to be salt and light, to walk in Spirit and Truth, to know the clean and unclean! Create in us a clean heart and steadfast spirit O YHVH!

1 John 2:15-19
Do not love the world nor that which is in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Because all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust of it, but the one doing the desire of Elohim remains forever. Little children, it is the last hour. And as you have heard that the anti-messiah is coming, even now many anti-messiahs have come. This is how we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us, for if they had been of us, they would have stayed with us – but in order that it might be made manifest that none of them were of us.
