When I saw this tree for the first time at the Šunik Water Grove a few months ago in spring, everything was green and overgrown there.
The moss was covering the boulders like a thick green carpet and the tree stood there on the overgrown rock and stretched out its broken leafless last branches.
"It looks like a huge antler or the crown of a giant troll", I thought back then.

Als ich diesen Baum zum ersten Mal vor ein paar Monaten im Frühling am Šunik-Wasserhain gesehen habe, war dort alles grün und verwachsen.
Das Moos lag wie ein dicker grüner Teppich auf den Felsbrocken und der Baum stand dort auf dem überwachsenen Felsen und streckte seine gebrochenen blattlosen letzten Äste aus.
"Der schaut aus wie ein riesiges Geweih oder die Krone eines Riesentrolls", dachte ich mir damals.

Because it was too shady, I could not photograph him at the time. I was back there last week, and the light was better. However, the green around was not so intense anymore because of the autumn and the overgrowing grasses were not there either.
But the tree was still there, and this time I was able to take a picture of it 😊

Weil es viel zu schattig gewesen ist, konnte ich ihn damals nicht fotografieren. Letzte Woche war ich wieder dort, und das Licht war besser. Das Grün war aber wegen des Herbstes nicht mehr so intensiv und die alles überwuchernden Gräser waren auch nicht mehr da.
Aber der Baum, der war noch da, und diesmal konnte ich ihn fotografieren 😊
