Hello, this is my introduction

Hi,

My name is Johan (the user name gives it away), I live in Sweden and I'm (as of writing this) 33 years old.
So, now when we have done the "standard" phrase let me write a bit more interesting stuff.

This is me:

I'm, in some weird way, a workaholic which in the same time is a major procrastinator. I literally always have my work smartphone by my side, and can answer work related e-mails in the middle of the night or during family dinners on a sunday. But at the same time I can spend an entire work day basically just browsing the internet. But I could also attribute that to having nothing to do because all has already been done during the weekend.

My job? I work as an educator at a "Yrkeshögskola" in Sweden, more or less a vocational college teaching stuff like Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCNA: Security and also computer security courses in penetration testing and ethical hacking.

When I'm not working (which as you've understood is pretty much always, except when I'm actually at work) I spend time with my girlfriend and our 2 wonderful children (currently 3.5 and soon 2 years old).

Before getting my first kid in 2013 I spent way too much time getting certified...

This has gone down a bit now, luckily and at the same time sadly he (my son) interupted my CCIE studies and I've never really recovered from that and I've lost a bit interest in it as well. So now I'm aiming for CCNA: Service Provider which shouldn't really be that hard.

My other interests, besides computers and networking, is basically anything with any sort of modern technology in it. Be it cars, motorcycles, computers, routers, smartphones, mechanics, 3d printers. I dive into pretty much anything I can get my hands on. The weirdest thing I've gotten interested in was a short lived fascination in the process for cloning orchids... Last deep dive into a subject I've done was motorcycles and in March I'm getting myself a 2017 MT-07 (or FZ-07 as it is named in the states!) and I'm almost done with my license so hopefully those two will come hand in hand. (The process to get a drivers license is a bit more complex in Sweden than in the US).

My hopes are to get some good content within the networking field up on this page. My years of experience in teaching computer networking should come to use if I try to create some good tutorials or explanations :D
