It's easy to see with the coriolis force. The Westphalian consensus trance is rooted in a monopoly on violence so that puts constraints on people's cognition, today as 100 years ago or 2000 years ago, so you get people who talk about that "the wind drives an electric current and when the sun becomes active with lots of magnetic activity that changes the wind pattern and changes electric currents" while also believing that the sun "heats the atmosphere causing wind", they will have to integrate all those beliefs, and then see that the magnetic field causes an electric current, which is the wind.
