MARKETING: The 3 Levels Of A Product You Must Know

Hey, it doned on me that most business people may not know that a good product is more that what the customer “actually buying”.

So I have decided to share with you guys a very important topic is the marketing field.

Marketers see a good product in for different levels, which I am going to share with you today.
So sit back relax and gain knowledge that is of real benefit to you.

The 3 levels of a product include the following:

• The Core Product: This is the real benefit the consumer is buying. The core of a product is the real reason we buy anything. When you buy a soft drink you are most of the time buying it because you want to refresh yourself. Or say you want to buy a car, the first real reason you buy a car is for easy movement around. No one rationally buys a car for other purpose. So when you want to sell a product make sure it meets the core need of the consumers. When blogging on steemit be true to the core value you offer that makes people follow you.

• Actual Product: This is the actually brand or identity the consumers buy/follow. Here factors like quality, fashion and brand are considered. There a lot of other entities offering the same core benefit your product offers but here your reputation is what the consumer is buying. There are a lot of smart phone companies out there but a lot of people prefer to buy the big brands like Apple iPhone and Samsung. It is what it is, these product may not necessarily be better but they have bigger brand equity.

• Augmented Product: These are the added benefits of buying a particular brand, it can be after sales benefit or just added benefit following a particular blog. Say a steemit blogger say for everyone who follows and upvote his/her blog get small SBD tokens that can be regarded as augmented product because it’s an added on value. Also factors like warranties, customer care services, delivery service, installation, finance e.t.c. Note: a premium may or may not be charged for the augmented benefit of a product.

These are very important concepts you need to understand to put together a very valuable product.
