I've prepared a post with a step by step tutorial. I can't post it until tomorrow, because I need to be sure everything works fine FetchRSS, which I used to create my feed, updates just once every 24 hours. So the post I made today will only show up in my feed tomorrow. And once it is in it, it should trigger the mailing service to send out a message.
I only found out about the 1-update-a-day thing from FetchRSS this afternoon, while I was testing the setup. If I can find some free time, I'll search for a better service.
Anyway, for the tutorial I wrote, I used Benchmark Email, which is free, and fairly easy to set up.
If everythinggoes right, I'll post it tomorrow, but you can try it out already - it's pretty self-explanatory
