NYC Comfortable Weather Continues Before Sunday Warmup
Good afternoon everyone, we have another great day lined up today. A little warmer, but dry and comfortable nonetheless. We catch a little break tomorrow as a light maritime'ish flow and moisture to our southeast help keep things from getting into the very warm realm, but it's only a 1 day break.

On Sunday, we warm up and increase that humidity, highs near 90.
On Monday and Tuesday, we go into the 90's with humid conditions. Monday is definitely all dry, but we could have a popcorn shower or storm Tuesday afternoon as the energy slowly increases.
Midweek, our front begins to near the area. We'll have seasonably average and humid conditions both Wednesday and Thursday as extra cloud cover and the chance of precipitation keep the 90's away, but it'll feel much warmer with the help of high dew points. There will be a chance of showers and storms each day, and severe weather depends on the timing and position of any waves that may form along this slow moving front.
Getting into late week, we may still have some issues on Friday with moisture hanging around, but we have to wait and see on that. We could squeeze out a dry day on Saturday with warm to very warm temps, then possibly another chance of showers and storms mid to late Sunday.
As we enter August, we remain looking like your typical NYC summer temp-wise, but more active in terms of precipitation and timing of frontal boundaries.
