The 1797 Heritage Site- Mactan Shrine

In everywhere we go , there is always a place or a story that makes that certain place beautiful and unique among the other places. It is somewhat the reason why a lot of people, specially tourists visit that place because of its richness in history and culture. Let me just share to you, our very own Heritage Site. This is the place where Lapu-Lapu and Magellan fought. This is where Lapu-Lapu, our Cebuano Hero fought for our place so that we would not be enslave by the spaniards. This where Lapu-Lapu killed Magellan. And this is where Lapu-Lapu died also.

This place is so relaxing, that is why a lot people came here to relax and enjoy the breeze.

Mactan Shrine also has stalls for snacks and other native delicacies. And also for souvenirs like bags, hand crafts, T-shirts, key chains, guitars, ukulele and a lot more.

The beauty of this site is really undying, it is so famous even before. A lot of tourists from different countries came to visit this place.
