1. Solar Power is easier to install and to have for long term and it will make you save tons of $$$$
   2.Plant can't grow without a piece of good soil and piece of land for farming , (make sure that you find the good soil and land
2. Make sure that you have water that can run downhills and to make sure to get a good presurrized water so that you can have access water to your tank and sink
3. If you do not have a good pressurized water, It will be painful hard for you because you will need to carry water (the worst things ever is to carry them back and forth to your house yeah it will be a REAL PAIN)
4. Make sure you have batteries in stock or use rechargeable batteries!!! the best is LED lamp
5. Trash Yeah trash garbage bin you will need to secure the bin against bear or other animal
6. Firewood is a lot of work, you will have cut,shape it and make it dry ...WOW lot lot of work... you might use the wood also for cooking...
7. Yurts are better in cold weather rather than in hot summer time ( you will need to be prepared psychologically for winter mainly because of the cold weather because yurts in winter if it is well insulated it can hold heat very well)
8. Temporary plan is longer than you think because if you are planning to make temporary situation you will have to make sure that it is made comfortable enough to accomodate you for a while
9. You can do things you didn't know you can do??? you have to be prepared mentally to make changes and to accept to learn and make mistakes and accept the situation and to make a change of lifestyle.
