Allow Me to Introduce Myself
My name is Joseph Boyko (@joe-boyko). I've been on steemit for about a week now, made a few posts, and realized that I haven't introduced myself yet. So let's get that formality outta the way, shall we?
I was born, raised and currently live in northwestern Pennsylvania. I've got a pretty eclectic range of interests that include everything from camping and fishing to playing video games and collecting comic books. Oh, and I have a cat named Dragon. Yeah, a cat... So what about it?
I'm a bartender by trade (17 years), so I'm sure I'll be using this platform to vent some anxieties that come with that line of work. I'll also talk about some pleasant surprises that come along with it as well. But I don't plan on limiting myself to just that. Like I said, I have a lot of interests, so I'll talk about whatever I find interesting at the moment. Mostly movies and video games tend to be my primary topics of discussion.
Just to be clear, I should give you some forewarning... I can assure you that you will NOT agree with everything that I have to say... I'm very politically opinionated. I also have a tendency to be sarcastic and use coarse language... Just thought I'd get that out of the way in the name of full disclosure. I think those character traits may come down to the fact that I don't normally write until after enjoying a couple of cocktails. With that said, I can also have a civil discussion and enjoy the free exchange of ideas with those whom I disagree. So long as I'm extended the same courtesy.
So anyway, I'm very excited to be using the steemit platform and am looking forward to being a part of its growing potential. Thank you so much for reading this and I hope to be putting up some interesting content that you'll enjoy.
Hello Joseph, I thought about starting with Joe but I wasn't sure if you like people calling you that or not (some people are really picky about that stuff). I am also quite new to Steemit and have also recently made a introduce yourself post. I really liked your post and even though I am not a cat person that's a pretty amazing name for a cat. Loved the post. Keep it up!
Joe, Joey, Joseph, Giuseppe... It's all the same to me. Thank you for the comment and the like. I'm not necessarily a cat person so much as I just like animals. And outside of the regular vet appointments, cats pretty much take care of themselves. With my schedule, that's a blessing. Anyway best of luck to you in building your audience. Thank you again.
