Here in this video we see something sweet and natural - raw sugar cane juice!
I had just completed a post on the rebranding of aspartame (the poisonous sweetener) to aminosweet and after such heavy topics it's great to see real natural sugar for sale on the beach. It quenches a hot thirst very well!
This lady drives around in her portable place of work. When someone wants a sugar cane juice she will pull start her engine and mash the cane to extract the juice.
When I was young and still today there are versions of this machine which are operated by hand! Lovely!
Who needs poisonous animal products when plants give us all we need!

Its a great thirst quencher especially for 1500riel (37cents).... Maybe a bit more down on the beach, I don't remember.

Sugar cane is sweet and delicious, we have many farms still producing in Australia.
