It was an overloaded weekend And a little bit of depression. I received a complaint of disobedience and I was insane and asking for the best reason from them ( Japanese Supervisors). I am working as a line leader and we are performing our best. I was upset but life goes on.

We are not working this Saturday and I want to share it with you.

I woke up early at 5:00 am. and went to Hachinohe Onsen. I took this opportunity because it will stop its service this month. I'm sad because I'm a regular customer and it's the nearest public bath and I got some friends there.
We went to Numadate 3 on 3 courts. We played 2 on 3 in favor of them. Filipinos are used to playing with money or a gamble which is not practiced here in Japan. It was a 500 yen battle best of 3 games. We lost in the last game but it was great. Playing with the new employees.

After that around noon, we went into the ramen shop, Korakuen at Numadate. We ordered the cheapest ramen for 440 yen. Five orders all miso ramen. After we went into the recycling shop. Some of us got some good items but I skip in it. We separated after that, and they returned home while I went back to the basketball court.

Basketball is life for me so I am enjoying life because of basketball. There I found new friends Haruto, Reo, and Tao Kun. There are high school students from Daisan. One is playing in a basketball club, while the two are playing baseball. I spent my time with them maybe 3 hours. It was fun and I was asked several questions about where I came from. Kids were curious, Reo Kun even ask me if I like bananas. Honestly, I love bananas because it's nutritious and it helps take care of my knees.

I returned home at 5:00 I was very tired. The two bottles of energy monster energy drink didn't help. I was hungry as well. I bought chicken meat for dinner. I made chicken soup and fried sardines. I shared it with my mates for dinner. It was an unusual moment because I always returned home late, mostly at 9:00 p.m. Anyway, they enjoyed my chicken soup. Two carrots, garlic, pepper powder, etc. I made some magic because they loved it. We drank wine to finish off and shared some stories, realistic and fun. Filipinos are perhaps happy people I think. But I don't know if I am.

I was relieved and felt lighter. Tomorrow is Sunday and hoping for good things to come and probably will play basketball.

I hope you enjoyed reading. See on my next blog. Best regards to @dwarrilow2002. I'm sorry I was not able to join the contest, I was lazy recently. I was also checking yours also and you're not writing as well. I hope you are doing good.

Hello @jobreyes24

I have been looking for alternatives to living in Canada for a few years. It is like the experience you are feeling with the Hachinohe Onsen. Things are changing in this world, and not for the better. I feel if I goes someplace new and am forced to adapt to the conditions there, it would be happier for me than to watch conditions degrade in Canada. I have been obsessed with the War for a couple of month (I have friends in Ukraine), so I have been trying to wean myself by watching videos of people who have become "expats", choosing to live in other countries.

With regards to you being a "happy" person, could it might be the result of having lack of purpose? Here is a little diagram that allows you to orient your goals for the next ten years of your life.

Basketball is life for me so I am enjoying life because of basketball.

You expressed how basketball is important to you. It is an activity in the "body" area. In ten years, do you want to continue playing basketball? How many times per week would you like to play? Are there other activities that you would like to do?

Once you write down "body" activities, you need to balance it with "mind" and "spirit" activities. Being unbalanced is unhealthy. I look up research papers on subjects that interest me. It doesn't matter what the topic is, it is as important to exercise your mind as much as your body. Even if you read books on basketball, it adds balance to your life.

"Spirit" is something that is a little difficult to define. Both mind and body occur within your skin. "Spiritual" activities work on a different level. Going to an art gallery to appreciate paintings; going to a waterfall to listen to the water; going to a religious temple or church to commune with your God; practicing Zen Archery - all of these constitute "Spiritual" activities. You just need to find yours.

In my case, I try to immerse myself with people wiser than I. Jordan Peterson is a good example of a thinker young people especially men should listen to.

Thank you for your great advice and for sharing this wonderful insight. You're exactly correct that we need to have a balanced body, mind, and spiritual activities. And I'm not doing this thing. It sometimes results in depression, anger, and feeling of emptiness of me.
Thank you very much and this really helps.

Hello @jobreyes, I wish everything goes well and good things come soon. I'm glad you feel relieved after a day of basketball and delicious food. I wish you the best!!
