Hi nice post, very interesting. It's amazing how open to manipulation we are. It's scary that the people in power understand this and can move public opinion in favour of harsher, and harsher policies by making small steps....and micro-commitments and then pursuing this and nationalising that they are being consistent with measure before. For example anti-terrorism laws started with small changes, and now basically have removed basic legal rights.

Very good points and I agree. These are very subtle principles and they are consistently reinforced everyday in all our public and private interactions. It takes consistent effort to re-train yourself to see them as they are being applied. Mass media just exacerbates the effect. Thanks for commenting. I will look at your articles and posts as well.
