It's Chinese New Year!

Tomorrow is the celebration of the Chinese New year! We went to a mall here in Gensan then we saw this display at their hallway. It's so cute seeing this huge dog. Well this year is if course the year of the dog hahahaa... There are lots of people taking photos amd selfies. The place is mostly reds because the Valentine's day decorations is just right beside this dog. You can feel the love ambiance in the whole place!
**The Philippines is like celebrating two new year. The traditional one held every Dec. 31st and the Chinese New year. But not everybody is celebrating the Chinese new year. Here in the Philippines there are many Chinese community living here so we normally see them celebrate this season. Although some Filipinos who are not Chinese celebrate it as well. **
Chinese celebration of new year is also very festive. They have many traditions which are also the same with the normal Filipino new year celebration. They also prepare some fruits which is believed to bring good luck and some other stuff which they also believed to symbolize good fortune. Well it's just a tradition and belief. Somehow if we don't work hard for ourselves and just rely on these stuff we might end up starving.. Hahaha... **It's just fine to have this as a guide but we need to work and ask guidance from our Almighty God so we have good life and fortune!
