Today fraudulent elections are celebrate in VENEZUELA.

Today is a day in which a South American country, called Venezuela needs to be heard, today is an election day to elect a new president in this country, and you will say: "Well, if there are elections today, there is democracy and opportunity to leave to the current president today. " Well, NO!

And although it sounds a little crazy and strange, unfortunately all the powers are controlled and bought (including the rector and guarantor of the electoral elections in the country, the CNE) so that Nicolás Maduro remains perpetuated in the presidency for 6 more years.

There is a great risk that by participating electorally, we could be giving a floor of legitimacy to a ruler that nobody wants.  These elections are illegal since their conception, which according to the constitution should be held in December, were called by the controversial National Constituent Assembly, an organization controlled by the Maduro government. For years, the regime has maintained firm control over the National Electoral Council or CNE, the branch of government in charge of counting the votes. The short period of time also did not allow much time to organize ways to supervise the elections, or to be able to count on international observers, whose presence has already been gradually limited over time. There is also no information on the addresses where the voters live, which leaves observers and opposition parties with no real possibility of verifying whether or not there is a registered voter. In short, much distrust and the strategy is to follow the call of the opposition parties to abstain from voting.

On the other hand, a large number of those who end up going to the polls on Sunday to vote for Maduro will think more about their stomachs than about politics. An electronic identity card, called Carnet de la Patria, gives many of them access to subsidized food bags distributed by the government program known as CLAP. In a country ravaged by hyperinflation, where a worker receiving the minimum wage must work 45 days to buy a carton of eggs, having access to the CLAP program could be the difference between life and death.

Please, RE-STEEM - THAT THE WORLD KNOWS IT !!

I really liked your post. Venezuela has a dictator. Everyone knows it. But as always there's people that close their eyes. And how can we deal with this? That's the real question, Venezuela as a nation has tried (I think) EVERYTHING.

Muy buen post amigo, es triste lo que esta pasando en nuestro pais...Me gustaria que leyeras el post que publique acerca de las elecciones. Un abrazo

Venezuelans were taugh to Vote but not to choose, now socialism has make voting easier removing the chance of election but a validation of their fraudulent system.
