Carmelized Brussel Sprouts

I was given a large bag of brussels sprouts that was ready to be steamed in the bag. I don’t particularly care for steamed brussel sprouts. So I opened up the bag, cut off the bottoms, and then split the brussels sprouts in half.

I tossed them in some olive oil, Himalayan salt, and smoked paprika. I placed them on parchment paper in the oven to roast along with some sweet onions.

When they were almost done, I took them out of the oven and then tossed them in a little bit more olive oil and some balsamic vinegar along with a drizzle of honey. They were placed back in the oven for another five to ten minutes or so.

They turned out very well and went great with my turkey meat loaf.
