My SteemMonsters Adventure: First Essence Orb Pack!
Well I couldn't resist myself from trying out my luck in the Essence Orbs shop and converted some of my gold cards to Dark Energy Crystals to purchase myself some essence orbs.
Among all the golden cards that I am holding, the 'Vampire' card is the one I rarely use so I decided it's finally time to let this one go. sob sob
Converting 1 Level 4 gold Vampire and 1 Level 5 gold Vampire gives me 2,250 Dark Enery Crystals. Both of these cards has an estimated value of $1.72 USD in the market.
Unfortunately (and as expected), my luck didn't work out that well today and I only got 3 common monster cards with no abilities to boot and 2 rare weak monster cards.
All the cards below has an estimated worth value of only $0.7USD (last time I checked the market), so I just lost ~$1 today. XD
Having said that, the more I try out this new update the more I am loving it. Because of the demand for DEC's, the value of most gold cards and even the most unwanted common monster cards have started to slowly increase in market value.
I suspect a lot of people are trying to profit by buying less expensive cards in bulk and converting all of that cards to DEC's to get good cards in the essence orbs. XD

Indeed there was a steep increase in value for the golden foil cards. I am doubting about selling one of my unicorns to try out an orb booster pack. The problem is that with only one booster pack it will be more or less worthless to do. There is no use in have 5 different cards with no possibility to upgrade them!
These cards do they belong to the beta deck?

I think they are classified as "Promo" edition cards as I think I saw them being classified under that classification instead of the betas.
I don't think selling your unicorn or converting it to Dark Energy Crystals would be worth it though so don't do that. XD I suggest you try with cards you rarely use as to minimize the disappoinment. XD
I didn't seel the unicorn. But I did sell some rare and common card from the monsters which are already on the max level of their correspondong summoner!
I did buy the 2 extra cards per daily quest and 1 orb. Just wanted to try it out!
