RE: Contest: Short Film Review - SHYRAQ (A Light)
I love watching the film. Literally I enjoyed a lot. How the candle make a friend toy and when cat snatches that toy. Besides the dangerous the downstairs but the candle climb down the stairs to catch his friend. The candle noticed that everyone is busy in his own doings. The child was being helpless in his studies because no one has time for one another.
The cute part was that when candle see the child has same face as toy. Making cute face to made the child sleep.
The sad part is the candle ended it's life to bound the family.
Despite movie it is true that the technologies have made our life easy but we are far apart from each other even we are in same home.
In old times the people live far from each other are still near the heart. The letters they receive when there was no telephone. That excitement and love is no more.😢

I agree with you, I miss those letters as well. I already wrote long letters at the age of 7. My first pen pal was my grandmother, next an aunt and I also wrote with a girl in Belgium. We never cared it took long for a letter to arrive. We sent cards for a birthday or if someone graduated and today we have a phone and computer and many ways to stay in touch but in reality no has time to text. An act that only takes a few minutes. I keep wondering how it can be we all lack time with all the new technologies like phones (no walking to a phone booth), washing machines, cars (no walking), bread, food everything is bought ready to eat. I keep wondering how come we didn't save time with all the technology and bots doing our jobs.
I feel for the child, partly also because even without phone parents are busy, especially the single parent who has to work and most likely always feels tired.
