VRNDAVAN

In Vrndavan the gopis go from tree to tree.
They embrace the trees and inquire have you seen Krishna?

How do they serve? They offer their fruits and flowers

The birds... Who are they? Great saints and sages.
They make their home in one tree and fly to others.

The monkeys. Who are they?
Fallen renunciates who could not control their sex impulses.

They swing from branch to branch in search of sense gratification. They cause mischief. Krishna likes to give them butter and yogurt He has stolen from the gopis.

The goswamis would sit beneath a tree each day and write their messages of Godhead.
